We gave this lady a ride in our car. She kept the baby on her back the whole time she was sitting in the front seat beside me. She also indicated (we didn't speak Arabic or any other language that might be mutually intelligible) that she felt very sorry for me because I didn't have any jewelry! This is where she indicated she wanted to be dropped, and there was no sign of any dwelling in sight. She was with us for many, many miles after we picked her up, and before we arrived at her "destination." And, she was alone, except for the baby.
