These pages of Ah Leon's work began with the teapot to the left. A request for more brought the rest of these, which were obviously recent work and even works in progress. The Log Teapot, below, was made in 1999, and is the most familiar to those who have followed his work for some time. The trompe l'oeil tree ring teapot is also somewhat familiar, but the teabowls, in progress, and the Tofu on the Boards, below, are really fun to see.The Tofu is a new direction for Ah Leon, although the boards are a link to his skill in depicting trompe l'oeil wood. On the poster for a show in Utah, you can see both the tofu installation and one of his railroad tie teapots.
