This 2CV Pick-up is a one of a kind custom built by a wood worker. It is
made of pine and oak. It took him almost 2 years to complete the project in
his spare time and you can see the result of this exceptional work in the
pictures below. The bed was made to fit exactly over the rust free chassis
and is fully functional.
Base
of the project was a rust free 2CV truckette from 1974. The workmanship is
outstanding and it drives excellent. The 602 cc engine runs beautiful and pull
strong allowing you to easily keep up with traffic. Top speed is between 70
and 75 mph depending on the wind! Car runs with no problems what-so-ever and we drove it from Jacksonville to Orlando easy. The entire car was dismantled during the
project and the chassis, floors and underbody were rust coated. After examination,
absolutely no rust was found anywhere. A new paint was just done to make it
even more attractive in white and red. The top is also new. No scratches, no
dings, no dents. I really like this little pick up and driving it makes every
head turn.
